Turkey Tacos

1 package Happy Farms shredded cheese $2.99

1 packet taco seasoning $0.35
1 Roma Tomato diced $0.89
1 jalepeno diced and deseeded $0.39
1 slice of white onion diced $0.25
Cumin spice $0.99
cayenne pepper $0.99

Total $16.00
Serves 3-5

Brown thawed turkey meat and add spices to your liking. I tried it with cayenne, two sliced garlic cloves, pepper and cumin. Tasty!
Meanwhile, chop veggies and arrange on a plate.
You could also chop a bell pepper into slices and slightly brown in with the turkey meat, for a more "fajita style".
If you are watching carbs, omit the tortillas and add a good helping of lettuce to a bowl, and add topping on top with some black beans ($0.59)
Warm tortillas on a plate for 30 seconds.
I typically get 3 out per person, but you could use more or less depending on your family.
Fill tortillas with meat, then cheese and additional toppings.
Serve with brown rice ($1.49 per box) and beans ($0.59) if desired.

This is a pretty simple and quick weeknight meal, which can be substituted with regular hamburger meat or shredded chicken. If going for the salad bowl idea, you could add a few crushed tortilla chips for that satisfying CRUNCH!

Don't let the price above turn you away. The prices above were for the entire package for that item, so this is just a guide as if you had nothing in your house.
For example, a pack of roma tomatoes usually come in 4-5 to a container, and you probably won't use the entire bag of cheese, lettuce, cilantro or onion. Their jalepenos also come typically 6 to a pack.
If you were sparing with the meat you could feed at least 5 people with this recipie.

All of this is from Aldi, exccept for the sour cream with I did not add above.
I don't see sour cream there and had some extra in the fridge.

I hope that you liked my recepie, this is my first attempt so any thoughts would be appreciated!
